Back at it. Or is it, back at it?
I paused this journal back in January, not because I ran out of things to say, but because I needed to. Sometimes stepping away is part of the process. Either way, I’m here again.
Recently I spent some time in studio with Briana Noir at Skyline Studios here in Houston. First time shooting in that space, and hey, I'm happy to say it delivered. Clean, versatile, and just a good vibe overall.
We explored a few different directions, and some of it felt new for us. That’s always the goal. One set leaned into a pop glam erotica look, playful but still grounded in what we do. Another set centered around this old leather and fur coat, probably around 65 years old from New York. Bri styled it effortlessly and made it feel current without losing that weight and history. Good stuff.
Nothing earth shattering. Just artful work, new ideas, and a reminder that there’s always somewhere else to push things.
