Artist Statement
Why do I sell my art? There’s this rampant idea in today’s world that artists create just to “go viral” or to simply chase Likes maybe, and that advertising or sponsorships somehow make up the difference. As if posting new works every day is all it takes, and when that one post gets 10,000 shares then all is well – the artist is successful.
The truth is very different. Platforms pay pennies, and social media popularity alone doesn’t sustain the kind of work I do, or that most artists do.
I make art because it’s who I am. I can't be another way. But for me to continue creating it, and for you to experience it, there has to be a way to support it –– as is the way of fine art since the dawn of time.
That’s why I offer my work for sale: full photo sets, original videos with my own music, fine art prints you can live with on your walls, and books you can place on your table and revisit whenever you like.
When you purchase my art, you’re not just "buying a product". You’re directly fueling the creation of future projects, making it possible for me to keep exploring, experimenting, and producing the kind of work that doesn’t just appear out of nowhere.
I am grateful for everyone who chooses to support my work in this way. You make it possible for me to remain an artist, and to keep building a body of work meant to be experienced, not just scrolled past.
And I thank you, from the deepest recesses of my heart and soul, for the support!
PS: While I am an artist always working to monetize the work that I do, do not come at me asking for any type of "private stash" of images or anything like that. I do not just sell "naked pictures of girls". I sell the art that I like to make. It varies quite a bit, whether it's fashion-inspired or erotica or anything in between. But I'm not holding on to any "secret stash", and nothing is for sale that you don't see on my website.
I work with models in a collaborative manner to create artwork that we both are excited about. Years back, my style was rather different, perhaps leaning more towards men's magazine style glamour in most instances, and yeah some of it I don't completely love anymore, but it is the work that I did. A lot of it I do offer, and I hope that if you enjoy it, that you'll support me by making a purchase. But again, do not message me or email me asking for some "fantasy dream private stash" that you think I have. I know some photographers do this, and I know other artists out there, including models, run their brand / business in different ways. That's fine, but that's not me, and never will be. Thank you.
