How Boudoir Photographers can benefit...

I received a very kind message recently from a boudoir photographer who said, “I love your work so much, but I’m not sure how in the world I could benefit from your workshops in what I do as a boudoir shooter?”

Here’s the thing: Even though my (next) upcoming workshop is focused on art nudes, it’s not *about* nudity, and just that. It’s about light, direction, mood, emotion, sensuality and creating images that feel like they belong in a client’s memory forever. Those skills translate directly to boudoir, because boudoir is really about crafting an atmosphere your client can step into and feel transformed by, right?

At this workshop (and at the future one I’m planning in a gorgeous private home), you’ll see exactly how to shape light the way I love to do, use your surroundings as part of the story, and guide a subject into an authentic emotional space. That’s the kind of experience that makes clients rave about you, and it’s 100% applicable whether your subject is wearing lingerie, a gown, or nothing at all.

Not to mention, on my Sept 7 Art Nudes Workshop in Houston, my model for the class is none other than Alexis Anne, who provides not just "an arbitrary subject", but a curriculum in and of herself, as she evokes pure confidence in her movements (something you can learn from and show your clients) and all with her calm, jovial and warm demeanor. In short, you can talk to her and gain a ton of posing knowledge from even a simple question.

And no, I am not a boudoir photographer by profession, myself. However, I've spoken at boudoir conferences, I've trained countless boudoir photographers, and I'm very familiar with the entire industry of boudoir as a service and an art form for the past 15 years.

I speak your language is what I'm trying to say, and I would be stoked to see you on any stop of my Workshops Tour going into the autumn and 2026.
